The word podcast is a compound from the words “iPod” (remember those) and “broadcast”. It is a form of digital media that consists of a series of episodes or specific topic matter. They are usually in audio format and can be downloaded or streamed through a computer or mobile device.

Podcasts have been around for over a decade but they have only recently started to become more diverse in the UK, so we have decided to share a list of podcasts that everyone should be listening to.

20Something Podcast is an entertainment and social politics media platform. They create audio podcasts, videos and editorials to reach the widest audience possible. The brilliant podcast is hosted by Naomi Simon.

‘A good honest conversation never hurt anyone’ Fols Forever and Mr.Vans tackle all of the topics of the day with unfiltered commentary on music, entertainment, politics and culture. Get involved in the conversation as we sit down with some of London’s most interesting characters.

Mad News blog and rinseonline.com come together to bring forth a podcast covering news, entertainment and everything in between.
Hosted by Sherryl Blu and Janice Miss Mad News, expect raw but candid conversation from two British ladies that have a lot to say about everything!

Mostly Lit is a weekly podcast broadcast by The Shoutout Network which is the UK’s first diverse podcast network. Mostly Lit is released on a weekly basis and is hosted by Reckless Rai and Alex Reads. The dynamic duo’s topics centre around literature and culture.

Melanin Millenials is by far the A.Z Team’s favourite podcast! Imrie and Satia discuss everything topical from pop culture, millennial struggles to Black Twitter with a distinct British point of view.
