With a smile on their face, Jo Lee (Pronouns: they/theirs) would say that life has been the best voice teacher. Determination taught them how to write, compose and produce. Born and raised in Brooklyn before the Great Hipster Diaspora, if there was an opportunity for them to create, they pushed it as far as they could. Jo Lee is no stranger to big crowds or prestigious venues. But they’re never too proud for an intimate house in the neighborhood. Soul, groove, and passion are woven into Jo Lee's music. Growing up in a church with a six-time Grammy-winning gospel choir also plays a huge part in their sound. Currently working on a debut EP, they pray that anyone who takes their time to listen will feel like they are born a winner.
