Birmingham Pride

A.Z took a trip to Birmingham on 28th May in celebration of Birmingham Pride 2016. With over 75,000 spectators there to support the parade, the streets of Birmingham City Centre flourished with colour, energy and pride!

The parade kicked 1off to an amazing start as teaching assistant Thomas Jones asked David Fox to marry him and happily, David said yes. A few who were amongst the parade were Urban Slag, Birmingham South Asian LGBT – Finding a  Voice and the African LGBTI rights organisation Out and Proud Diamond Group.
