What’s the first thing you do in the morning?

I head to mum’s bedroom and we pray together. God first! Then I go through, emails, social media and orders

Why did you start your company?

I noticed that women in the UK lacked a variety when it came to statement jewellery, so I  made it my mission to create fashionable jewellery at an affordable price. I initially started making celebrity inspired earrings in my living room and in 2012 created Diva Approved London.

Working night shifts, but have to work keep my business going.

What does a typical day involve?

Head home at 8:00am after a night shift, responding to emails and social media comments, fulfilling orders, sourcing new goods, finding new suppliers, research, taking care of my mum and attempting to get some sleep.

Most memorable moment?

Being recognised by larger brands was exciting. I was never really one for social media until Diva Approved London was born. In the early stages I promoted my brand through Instagram, Twitter and other social media websites. When I started to receive likes and comments from brands like Public Desire I felt like my hard work and perseverance was starting to pay off.

What do you do to relax?

Watch a film, socialise on weekends promoting Diva Approved London and just be a 20 something who enjoys life.

Childhood dream?

I wanted to be a Social worker or a motivational  speaker for young girls/women.
