Join AZ Magazine at The Curtain Hotel for a night celebrating QTIPOC films.

In celebration of LGBT+ history month we’ll be screening a selection of films that celebrate the QTIPOC experience.

We’ve already confirmed two incredible films:

The Aggressives, a documentary follows a group of women who are “aggressives,” a subculture of lesbians who dress like men and even pass for them in society. These women hide female elements of their bodies and often adopt male personas.

Batty Boy a short film about black gay culture set against homophobia and dancehall music.

We’re still looking for QTIPOC filmmakers who would like to screen their film or any visual work you’ve been working on or finished. If you’d like to get involved please email: contact@azmag.co.uk.
