Pxssy Palace & BBZ are teaming up to host SHOW LUV!, a fundraising event on February 16th to help raise funds in support of Kai & Naeem’s gender-affirming surgery. We as a community understand the importance of raising our siblings up, affirming one another, supporting each other and finding new ways to fluidly and to radically love one another. So this Valentine’s instead of seeing the same cis-het love stories on your timeline and your news feed, come through and experience love in ALL its forms.
SHOW LUV is all about love, so in order for everyone to have the best night and live their best lives please keep some things at the front of your mind, this means respecting one another, listening to boundaries, feeling comfortable and making sure others do too whilst understanding the space and who its for. The policy is as always: ZERO TOLERANCE TO HARASSMENT OF ANY KIND! This includes transphobia, body shaming, racism, homophobia, xenophobia and ableism. This is a space where no prejudice will be accepted if you aren’t acting correctly and respectfully you will be asked to leave. Please be reminded that both Pxssy Palace and BBZ prioritise queer womxn, trans, and non-binary people of color so QTIPOC to the front please!
Naeem Davis, co-founder of collective BBZ London who hosts a club night specifically aimed at queer, trans and non-binary people of colour and Kai-Isaiah Jamal, a spoken word poet/performer and writer who builds dialogue on often the ‘unspoken’ are two powerful and important members of our community both aiming to live their best lives the way they want to!
Naeem and Kai are planning on getting top surgery in March 2019 and need to secure the funds before the appointment date. Their aim is £20,000 which covers the surgery price and extra funds that will help contribute to the time spent healing and all the materials needed for aftercare. It is important as members of this community that we not only support each other but uplift and inspire others to fulfil their dreams and become the person they want to be. All funds raised will ensure that they receive the highest quality treatment and support following the procedures. All the donations will support private medical care, living costs whilst healing at home, all the materials and treatments for post-op scarring.

With love being a present theme, BBZ and Pxssy Palace are teaming up with queer, inclusive dating app Feeld, a multi-partner dating app that connects people of all identities based on transparency and chemistry. From 8-10pm, feel the love and find your people during a special one-night-only Speed Social; two hours to Show Luv, feel chemistry and connection in a cosy upstairs bar. Come alone, as a duo or group, shy types can date with a mate. Free drinks will be available for Feeld users (show your app on arrival). So grab a drink from the bar or some snacks in the restaurant and find ya own snack or snacks!
Talking of snacks, the wicked Dee’s Table will be serving Jamaican goodness in the form of vegan patties and burgers, so make sure to grab some food to keep your energy up!
Love can also be quiet and relaxing so there will be a sober space, The Sanctuary, for those that want to chill with some tunes and take a little break from the main celebrations. Please feel free to take a moment to chat and vibe.
All of the money raised will go towards the donations. There will be a raffle to win a personalised bag by Joy Miessi. There will be a free photo booth for friends and lovers to get together and SHOW LUV. There will also be exclusive t-shirts BBZ X PP t-shirts for sale.
