A.Z Magazine Becomes UK Black Pride’s Media Partner

A.Z Magazine today announces a multimedia partnership with UK Black Pride (www.ukblackpride.org.uk).

The partnership will see A.Z Magazine support UK Black Pride events throughout the year, support their #stoprainbowracism campaign and share news within the community.

This year UK Black Pride will be held at Vauxhall Gardens on 26 June 2016. We will be conducting interviews with performers, engaging with attendees and sharing highlights from the day via social media.

The decision to collaborate comes about as a way to maximise visibility of minority groups in the LGBT+ community within the UK. We believe this partnership can be a catalyst to change in the representation of people in our community.

UK Black Pride promotes unity and co-operation among all Black people of African, Asian, Caribbean, Middle Eastern and Latin American descent, as well as their friends and families, who identify as Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual or Transgender.

The organisation is committed to producing an annual celebration of “Black Pride”, as well as organising a variety of activities throughout the year in and around the UK which also promote and advocate for the spiritual, emotional, and intellectual health and well-being of all related communities. Our aim is to foster, present and celebrate Black LGBT culture through education, the arts, cultural events and advocacy.

The partnership is the first of it’s kind for A.Z Magazine.
